Well. Life sucks. Damn reality.
I just got a job and not even really two weeks into it--I hate it. Do me a some favors:
1) When you go to Wal-Mart, make sure you buy what you actually want! Working returns (putting it all back on the shelves) is very time consuming and hinders our ability to get out new and, usually, out of stock items.
2) When you pick something up, walk around for a bit, then change your mind...PLEASE do your best to put it back at least near where you think you found it. Putting shampoo down in the grocery section makes the store look sloppy...and we get yelled at for not seeing it.
3) When you knock something over or cause something to fall off a shelf--pick the damn thing up. We aren't your mothers, we don't want to clean up after you.
4) Be nice to the sales floor associates. Just because we work there doesn't mean we know the whole store like the backs of our hands. Don't bitch us out for not knowing where something is, such as the heating pads. Usually, we only work a tiny area of the store, not the whole thing. Thus, we won't know where night lights are if we work in the Health and Beauty area.
5) (I forgot one...) If/when you ask where the sunblock, sunscreen, aloe, and tanning oil/lotion is, and we say, "Back near electronics." Don't look at us like we just farted or start speaking slow like we didn't understand you. 98% of us speak fluent English and yes, we heard what you said. Don't treat us like we are retards. All of that stuff is at the back of the store for the same reason the milk is--impulse buying! The more shit you have to walk past, the more you'll question whether or not you actually want to buy more than just beach stuff. It's basic marketing you dumbfucks! I'm 17, I'm working at Wal-Mart, and I know this! ...and you're a doctor or a lawyer? That worries me.
(NOTE: all of these examples are actual stories that have happened to me personally. And yes, I actually work at Wal-Mart in the Health and Beauty (HBA) area.)
On a lighter note!
I have a boyfriend. He's adorable. I love him very, very much. ^-^ On the 19th of this month, we'll have been together for 8 months. Snazzilicious, no? He makes me so happy. ^-^
I also think I've found a new, albeit expensive, hobby. Dolling. Yes, making dolls. Like...the ones on [link] and [link] . ^-^ Fun stuff.

Remember, remember the fifth of November,
The gunpowder, treason and plot,
I know of no reason why gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot.
